1. Who we are

Trotamundos S.A.C., a company incorporated in Peru with tax ID (RUC) 20616594908 and registered offices at Calle San Martín 734, departamento 601, Miraflores, Lima, Perú, is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at admin@trotamundos.pe.

2. Scope

This policy covers this website and any correspondence you have with us. The mobile applications we build and operate for our clients have their own privacy policies, published on each app's App Store and Google Play listing and available from within the app, identifying the controller of the relevant database.

3. What this website collects

This is an informational website. It has no forms, uses no analytics or advertising cookies, and does not track browsing activity.

Our hosting provider may automatically log technical request data — IP address, browser type, date and time — in order to operate and protect the service. These logs are kept for short periods and are not used to identify individuals or build profiles.

4. If you write to us

If you contact us by email, we process the data you choose to include — typically your name, email address and the content of your message — solely to respond to it. We keep that correspondence for as long as needed to follow up and thereafter for any period required by applicable law.

5. Legal basis and purpose

We process this data on the basis of your consent, given when you write to us, and our legitimate interest in keeping the site operational and secure. We do not use the data for any other purpose and make no automated decisions based on it.

6. Sharing

We do not sell or transfer personal data. We rely on hosting and email providers acting as processors under contractual security and confidentiality obligations. Some may be located outside Peru, in which case we apply the safeguards required for cross-border transfers. We disclose information only when required by a competent authority.

7. Security

We apply reasonable technical, organizational and legal measures to protect information against unauthorized access, loss or alteration, including encryption in transit, access controls and backups.

8. Your rights

Under Peruvian Law No. 29733 on Personal Data Protection and its regulations, you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation and objection, along with any other rights the law grants you. To do so, write to admin@trotamundos.pe. We will respond within the statutory time limits.

If you believe your rights have not been honoured, you may contact the Peruvian National Authority for Personal Data Protection at the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights.

9. Children

This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect children's data through it.

10. Changes

If we update this policy, we will publish the new version at this address and show the date of the change.
